Another LG smartwatch with Wear OS has surfaced online today. It is going to arrive with two variants: LTE and Wifi support! Keep reading to learn more about these gadgets!
New LG smartwatch is coming soon
LG seems to be committed to transforming its wearable line this year. Recently, there are some leaks started to pop out, carrying some information regarding the future LG smartwatch. During the last month, the company filed three new smartwatches on the FCC. Two of them are suspected to be parts of the Sport and Style lineup, whereas the last one will run on LTE and Android Wear OS. However, LG pushed forward another mysterious smartwatch through FCC two days ago.
It is similar to the former Wear OS wearable, but with a different codename and some limitations. The first Wear OS powered wearable has the model number LM-W315 with 3G and LTE support. Meanwhile, the new listing reveals an LM-W319 label on it but has only Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity. Besides, Qualcomm already confirmed that it’s working in a chipset made explicitly for wearables.
This chipset is likely to couple up with the rumoured Google Pixel Watch, that should launch in the Fall alongside Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Coincidentally, that’s when the LG Wear OS wearables are going to hit the market. We wouldn’t be surprised if they come with the same Qualcomm wearable chipset. On a side note, let’s take a look at the latest LG Watch Timepiece that is going to launch this month. In details, it has an IP68-rated stainless steel body, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 processor, 768 MB LPDDR3 memory; 4 GB of internal eMMC storage, and a 1.2-inch LCD panel with 360 x 360 pixels.

Unfortunately, that is all we have known until now. It is still too early to make any conclusion regarding these new LG smartwatches. So stay tuned with us for more updates about them!
