LG orders mobile team to start LG G7 development!
According to some sources, Cho Sung-jin, LG Electronics Vice President, ordered the LG G7 development team to start it from scratch. It seems that the development team received this word after LG’s CEO revealed that the company wouldn’t be launching new devices. “We will unveil new smartphones when it is needed. But we will not launch it just because other rivals do,” said Cho Sung-jin.
However, this might delay the release from March to April. After that, it also affects the next LG V-series phone release date, which might launch in the Fall. Based on the latest public relations official, LG’s mobile division was seeking new marketing strategies related to launch new devices. Mr. Senong-jin has stated that he is considering retaining existing smartphone models longer and that LG could even introduce a new flagship phone brand.
