LG G8X specs
Back in February, LF announced its G-series smartphone. It consists of the LG G8 ThinQ and its first 5G enabled phone, the LG V50 ThinQ. Now, based on the latest report, the company is set to introduce a new G8X around IFA 2019. In addition, this smartphone could be launched as the successor of the LG G8 ThinQ. The smartphone comes with a tiny teardrop notch, which is smaller than the full-size notch on the LG G8 smartphone.
Furthermore, this smartphone also features a metal frame, a dual rear camera set up, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Besides, for security, the G8X smartphone has an under-display fingerprint scanner instead of the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. As per the listing, the LG phone specs pack a 6.2-inch screen, up from a 6.1-inch on the LG G8 smartphone. This phone also has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
On the other side, regarding the hardware system, the new LG smartphone takes power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset with Adreno 640 GPU. Speaking of the storage, this smartphone sports 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 2TB via a MicroSD card. Under the hood, this device ships with the latest Android 9.0 Pie. Moving on to the optics department, the LG G8X camera rocks a dual 16MP rear cameras. Meanwhile, the selfie lens has a single 13MP sensor.
Release date and price
Until now, the company hasn’t unveiled the launch date of the G8X smartphone yet. We hope to see this phone in the last quarter of this year. Besides, regarding the cost, the LG G8X price begins at Rs. 52, 990 ~ $751.
