The LG G7 ThinQ has been under the spotlight for a long. And, eventually, our sources have reported that it debuts with a notched screen and AI photo sort system. In detail, LG G7 ThinQ specs sport a 6.1-inch LCD touchscreen with a notch on top of it. The phone goes with the resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels and a ratio of 19.5:9. Moreover, the LG phone – considered as an evolution on the Full Vision panel and surrounded by even thinner bezels – also delivers a maximum brightness of 1000 nits.
In terms of the AI photo sort system, LG has continued its collaboration with EmEye which not only adjusts the camera settings but also looks at photos after taken. The AI helps to sort these photos in up to 155 smart albums based on keywords and concepts. When using the camera in AI mode, users can see words floating on the screen—the AI’s description of the image. Those words are used to sort photos. This is the result of the work by EmEye and LG analyzing over 100 million photos.
On the left edge of the phone are three buttons: volume +, volume -, and a new key which could be a dedicated Google Assistant shortcut. LG G7 ThinQ owns a silver colour with a front bezel of the device in black. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back but it appears that the button could be the power key. Furthermore, the handset takes power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. Besides, the G7 ThinQ owns 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB. Moreover, the LG phone runs on Android Oreo 8.0 and owns a non-removable 3000mAh battery box. Regarding optics department, this LG G7 ThinQ camera sports a dual 16MP primary snapper positioned in a vertical orientation alongside with an 8MP secondary shooter.
