Recently, many information about LG upcoming flagship – LG G7 handset – has resurfaced online. In details, LG G7 specs sport a large 6.2-inch screen. Previously, many reports suggested that this LG phone was going to arrive with an OLED panel. However, according to our sources, LG seems to have a change of mind. Korean market analysts now predict that LG G7 Display is going to be an LCD.
Notably, this is a measure aimed at keeping the costs of the G7 phone in check. Mainly, the OLED displays come with significant advantages, but two or three times as expensive as the LCDs. On the other hand, LG has already had the tradition of using the LCDs in their handsets before. Furthermore, LG G7 design also features an iPhone X’s notch, based on the leak images.
On the other hand, LG G7 display also has the resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, this LG flagship takes power from a Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845 chipset. Moreover, LG G7 offers 6GB RAM and two ROM: 64GB/128GB. Additionally, there is also another microSD card which is expandable up to 400GB. Besides, LG G7 camera includes a dual 16MP rear snapper (OIS, phase detection autofocus, LED flash). On the contrary, this LG phone equips an 8MP selfie shooter. In terms of the operating system, LG G7 comes running on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. Finally, this LG handset rocks a non-removable Li-Po 3000mAh battery box.
