If you are waiting for a test on the LG G6 flagship, we have a combined scratch, burn, and bend today. The Korean flagship has just come back from the destruction. Let’s see how well it survived!
LG G6 flagship going through scratching, burning, and bending!
The tremendous test was conducted on Youtube channel JerryRig Everything. Any durability test is gonna be hurtful to the heart. They started the scratch one first, using the Mohs picks. Those with plastic screens like Galaxy S7 Active or NoPhone will scratch at level 3. LG G6 didn’t ‘t scratch until level 6 since its screen was protected with Gorilla Glass 3. Move to the LG logo at the bottom and the 5MP front camera on top. They cannot be scratched off for lying under the same Gorilla glass.
The test gets more interesting when coming to the back. The finger scanner/home button was “a little bit easier” to scratch than the Moto G5. Yet the scanner still worked well afterward. The dual 13MP cameras were all fine when placed under the same glass with the dual flash. Scratching on the sides tells us they are totally made of metal. Testing with the flame put our LG G6 flagship off after only 6 seconds. This is faster than the normal 8-15 seconds.
Finally, let’s see if LG G6 flagship passed the common bend test. The tester said no LG phone had ever failed in his bend test before. The solid metal frame left LG G6 with almost no curve. No matter when bent from the back or front, no seals were broken. One of reasons that makes the phone more solid is its flush design. Another one is that the rear glass is placed inside the metal frame. This added “strength” to the device during the bend test.
