LG flagship: super wide 18:9 LCD display
On Tuesday in South Korea, LG Display just announced a new smartphone update which would be used in their next flagship LG G6. The 5.7-inch LCD panel carries 545 pixels per inch for super-sharp images. It is said that “more immersive viewing experience” through its 18:9 aspect ratio. It seems like LG will bring the dual-screen multi-tasking feature onto LG G6, which available on Android 7.0.
Furthermore, LG is trying to enhance the touch technology. It helps the display extremely responsive which means there is no distinguishable delay between the moment you touch on the screen and the time that device responds. And yes, following the bezel-less trend, LG points out that the screen will have slimmer bezels and extremely thing. The screen is also expected to consume less 30% power while provide the better outdoor visibility.
