Earlier last week, a new Lenovo-branded smartphone was spotted on Chinese certification site TENAA with a triple-rear camera setup. In details, the handset carried the model number L78071 that revealed several specifications. Furthermore, the new phone with triple-cameras is a part of the Z5 series, known as the Lenovo Z5s. Notably, the company has never had a smartphone with more than two rear cameras.
From what we witnessed so far, the TENAA images showed the vertically placed triple-camera setup similar to the setup on the Huawei P20 Pro. Moreover, we have the brand new Mate 20 Pro from Huawei, the LG V40 ThinQ and the Samsung Galaxy A7 joining in the triple cameras race. Among all of these phones feature a triple rear camera, the Mate 20 Pro has come out on top for now.
Regarding Lenovo Z5s specs, the smartphone is likely to feature a 6.3-inch display with FHD+ resolution. Under the hood, the Lenovo device would sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 chipset that getting launched in early December 2018. Otherwise, the new device equips a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, alongside a 3210mAh battery box. Furthermore, the Lenovo Z5s camera would sport the triple rear sensors, but there is no information on the exact resolution. In 2018, manufacturers have started adding more cameras on smartphones. Besides, other remaining details remain the mystery.
