Vice President of Lenovo, Chang Cheng, has teased an upcoming flagship with around 95% or even higher screen-to-body ratio. Cheng posted the teaser image on social media and asked fans to guess what ratio percentage the device will have. 80-84%, 85-89%, 90-94%, or 95%. It’s kind of hard to judge by the image, regarding the deliberate crop. But it’s a moderately safe bet because the Vice President of Lenovo wouldn’t have teased like this if the company wasn’t capable of making something in the 95% range.

Moreover, looking at the way the image purposely cropped, there’s no confirmation whether Lenovo new bezel-less phone will have a notch. One thing that we know for sure from the photo, however, is that if there’s a notch present; it will be something more similar to Essential Phone and Huawei P20 Pro. Another thing that’s left to users’ imagination is the bottom bezel, which could be as narrow as the side bezels, or a bit wider. Even Vivo’s all-screen Apex phone, which uses a pop-up selfie camera to reduce the need of a notch, has a bit of a bottom bezel.

Plus, Vivo claimed that getting rid of it to match the rest of the handset would be very expensive at this point. Well, at least for a mass-produced device. So, keep in mind that the upcoming Lenovo flagship has a bit of a chin as well. The company could still decrease or remove the notch to work the coveted 95% screen-to-body ratio. Whether it would use a mechanised front camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner like the Vivo Apex, we’ll have to wait to find out.
