Last year, Lava introduced the Lava Blaze handset with a low-budget price of under ₹10,000. Despite the cheap price, the phone gave off a luxury feel with a glass back and dual cameras. This April, the brand is back with the successor of this handset under the name Lava Blaze 2. Moreover, they are launching the new handset through Amazon India. Regarding the design, the new phone retains the glass back setup with similar color options.
Meanwhile, it received a big boost in terms of the software and hardware. Firstly, the new Lava device now runs on the Unisoc T616 chipset. Thanks to its two Cortex-A75 cores in addition to six A55s and a Mali-G57 MP1, the smartphone scores 9.5.5 over 250K on AnTuTu. If this statement is true, the Lava Blaze 2 can claim the throne as the most powerful handset in the sub-₹10,000 phones segment.
On the other hand, the phone now arrives with 6GB RAM (plus 5GB of virtual RAM). This is double the low RAM from the old model. Additionally, the storage also reached 128G. The company is also adding a microSD card to expand the storage to 1TB. The Lava Blaze 2 display is a 6.5” IPS LCD (720 x 1600 pixels). Its battery is a 5000mAh juice box with a charge rating of 18W. How about the photography system? Lava Blaze 2 camera packs a single 13MP rear lens and an 8MP selie lens. One of its set back is the operating system, which is still the Android 12 version.
Lava Blaze 2 release date and price
The handset is going on sale starting next week. If you manage to catch it during the special launch, the Lava Blaze 2 price should be ₹9,000. After that, it goes on sale for ₹11,000.
