KickassTorrents (aka KAT)- this name sounds familiar, right? In case you might not know, this is the website allowing you to freely download movies, music and more all over the word. This domain is the safest way for you to enjoy your hobby. Unfortunately, this site is no longer existed. It was seized due to an arrest of the website’s owner on Wednesday.

Artem Vaulin – a 30-year old Ukrainian guy- is the founder of KAT. This man is the one who has stood behind the operations and financials of this site since 2008. He was arrested in Poland by the US authority for many charges. Artem is charged with committing copyright infringement, cabal to commit copyright infringement and money laundering. Now, the KAT founder may be extradited to Chicago of America.

According to some reports, Vaulin had taken over $1 billion for the illegal copyrighted materials. To avoid the capture and civil lawsuits, this man had depended on many servers which are located in many countries around the world. He even moved the domains. However, this guy just couldn’t get away with it.
