Apple iPhone 8: A new design with OLED screen

Along with the leaks of iPhone 7, there are some reports about iPhone 8 coming in next year. Ming-Chi Kuo, a reputable industry analyst at KGI Securities, unveiled that Apple is investing in a new screen technology. Additionally, recent reports show that Apple is finding suppliers for a huge amount of OLED screen. The reports also said that OLED screen will be used in next year iPhone – it may be Apple iPhone 8. Besides, Samsung and LG are rumoured to be Apple’s sole OLED suppliers in 2017.

From the same source, an OLED screen of iPhone 8 might come with 5.7-inch in size and 2K resolution. That is greater than the iPhone 6s Plus, with 5.5-inch full HD screen. Generally, OLED display gets higher evaluation than LCD display. It presents the better viewing and consumes less energy. Most importantly, OLED technology will reduce the producing cost for Apple. So, the next iPhone 2017 – Apple iPhone 8 could be cheaper than usual.

Besides, the Apple iPhone 8 will not have a home button, or at least not a physical one, as reported. The reason is unclear, but it makes users more excited about this 2017 iPhone.

Expected Apple iPhone 8 price and release date

It is a bit early to say about the Apple iPhone 8 release date. But if Apple continues their tradition, the iPhone 8 will be launched in September 2017, at the same time as the iPhone’s 10th anniversary. As we mentioned, Apple iPhone 8 price may be cheaper than usual. It could be around $780 (Rs. 52, 283). We expect this new iPhone will bring in success for Apple in next year. What about you?
