Dual vertical cameras & 3D sensing on iPhone 8?
While the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are still in great demand, Apple is planning for its next anniversary smartphone. iPhone 8 is expected to come with dual vertical cameras and…
iPhone 8 will feature dual vertical cameras and stainless steel?
The iPhone 8 leaks, rumors and renders have been all over the internet now. The smartphone is expected to come as Apple is celebrating its 10th anniversary of iPhone. Since the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus arrived with the same design and similar features as iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, everyone is expecting more from the next iPhone 8. Apple also started to order OLED display panels from Samsung. Then the good news came when Samsung Galaxy S8 display was rated as the best ever.
In terms of photography, iPhone 8 cameras should be the same as the iPhone 7 Plus’s or even better. It is also possible that iPhone 8 will come with dual cameras on both the rear and front. However, a few recent renders suggested the iPhone 8 would sport dual vertical cameras. To be more precise, it is said to be “a vertically-aligned iSight Duo camera on the rear for VR shooting purposes”. Let’s wait and see if the new structure of vertical dual cameras will function better on the iPhone 8.
In addition, iPhone 8 will have “a polished stainless steel enclosure sandwiched between front and back glass”. If the Japanese blog Mac Otakara were right, the iPhone 8 would feature the same stainless design as the iPhone 4. And this is exactly what Ming-Chi Kuo expected las year. He is one of the most reliable Apple analyst from KGI Securities. This time, the stainless steel should be even better than that of the Apple Watch.
iPhone 8 will have dual vertical cameras but not the 3D sensing?
Although the dual vertical cameras could come, one of the most expected iPhone 8 features could be delayed. Probably we will not see 3D sensing on the iPhone 8. This means no Augmented Reality (AR) or eye scanning is coming this year.
