iPhone 8 body to be all glass?

This year is a special for Apple, as it is the 10-year anniversary for its best product, the iPhone. The supposedly iPhone 8 released this year has gotten special attention from everyone. Recently, we have some leaks showing what seems to be the iPhone 8 body!

iPhone 8 body to be all glass?

This leak may just provide us the best look possible for us about the new iPhone – or at least, the iPhone 8 body. This seems to be a CAD design, or blueprints of the phone. From the images, we can see the phone from all angles possible. What can be seen is that the new iPhone this year will sport a metal frame body, coated by a shiny glass back. This is a contrast from the iPhone 7, which has an all metal back.

Not only that, the camera arrangement is slightly different too. The iPhone 8 will have dual back camera, arranged vertically, not horizontally like iPhone 7 Plus. This change has been speculated to accommodate some augmented reality (AR) functions of the phone. Other than that, the rest seems just like what has been done on iPhone 7: two speaker grilles and a Lightning port at the bottom, the power button at the right side, and the volumes controller buttons at the left side.

The iPhone 8 shown here has dimensions of 143.5 x 70.9 x 7.7mm, which is a little bigger than the iPhone 7 (138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1mm), but slightly smaller than the 7 Plus. However, the iPhone 8 body seems to be thicker than that of iPhone 7 Plus. One interesting aspect is that the new iPhone 8 may have a bigger screen than its predecessors, with a 5.8″ display, by removing the home button and having an all-screen display. The fingerprint scanner here is speculated to be under the screen, or at the Apple Logo at the back. Still, it looks really elegant!

iPhone 8 body: Elegant and beautiful!

These designs were spread by @OnLeaks, one of the more reputable sources when it comes to smartphones insider information. However, they themselves are not quite sure if this is the final product or just a test prototype, so treat it as such. Do you like this look of iPhone 8?
