We all know that the upgrade circle of Apple has been expanded from 2 years to 3 years, which means iPhone 7 this year won’t feature any dramatic change. To be more specific, here are the reasons why iPhone 8 will be better than the upcoming iPhone 7.
iPhone 8 vs iPhone 7: Display and Design
As for the display, iPhone 7 along with its siblings is expected to come with the same TFT LCD screen. However, this screen type seems to be a bit old compared to the AMOLED display which is the signature of Samsung. Meanwhile, there are hints that iPhone 8 next year will feature a FLEXIBLE AMOLED screen which will wrap around the corner. iPhone 8 design is also revealed to not include the volume buttons.
As for the design, again, because of the 3 years upgrade circle, iPhone 7 series will look similar to the iPhone 6 and its siblings. If there is any differences, it will be the lack of the headphone jack. The lack of it is to make the phone resistant to water. To fulfill the missing, there could be a speaker or something else that we could find in the recent leak.
About iPhone 8, experts and analyst predict that this phone will break the standard of all iPhone designs that we have seen in the past few years. 2017’s iPhone is hinted to resemble a single sheet of glass. This means that there will be no metal or plastic construction!
iPhone 8 and iPhone 7: The hardware
In terms of hardware, I’m afraid to say that there will be nothing different between iPhone 8 and iPhone 7. In stead, we can expect that iPhone 2017 next year will feature a big upgrade in the chipset: from Apple A9 to Apple A10! Moreover, 2017’s iPhone is also hinted to sports some form of VR tool! In a word, what we can expect from iPhone 8 next year are: a “single sheet of glass” design, a flexible AMOLED display, an A10 chipset and VR experience. Meanwhile, iPhone 7 could offer… the lack of earphone jack.
