Indian Samsung Galaxy S9 variant now supports dual VoLTE support!
After the official announcement at the MWC 2018, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus have finally arrived in India a few weeks after. Since then, the two Samsung flagships have continuously received the monthly update. Today, the Indian Samsung Galaxy S9 variant has upgraded the latest version with some exciting change. According to the screenshot surfaced, the update for the India Samsung Galaxy S9 is 426 MB in size.
Firstly, the software patch brings some fixes and performance tweaks to the Indian Samsung Galaxy S9 variant. Notably, the Samsung phone now has dual VoLTE support and VoWiFi over both SIM cards for the devices with dual SIM slots. Now, let’s see what else the Galaxy duo offers! In details, Samsung Galaxy S9 specs sport a 5.8-inch AMOLED touchscreen (1440 x 2960 resolution pixels). Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus specs feature a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED (1440 x 2960 pixels).
Under the hood, the two Samsung phones take power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (USA & China) or Exynos 9810 Octa (EMEA). Out of the two, the Samsung Galaxy S9 has 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB ROM (expandable up to 400GB). Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus offers bigger 6GB RAM paired with 64GB/ 128GB ROM (expandable up to 400GB). Besides that, Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus camera equips a dual 12 MP (f/1.5-2.4, 26mm, 1/2.55″, 1.4µm, Dual Pixel PDAF) + 12MP (f/2.4, 52mm, 1/3.6″, 1µm, AF) snappers on the back and an 8MP front-facing lens. Additionally, Samsung Galaxy S9 camera system has a single 12MP rear sensor and an 8MP front-facing shooter. Besides, Samsung Galaxy S9 packs a non-removable 3000mAh juice box, and the S9 Plus draws a non-removable Li-Ion 3500mAh capacity. Lastly, both Samsung phones now run on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
