Serial leakster Evan Blass has revealed images of 2018 edition of Huawei‘s new Y series smartphones last month. And now, the Y5 Prime 2018 seems to getting closer as it appeared on TENAA recently. In details, the Huawei Y5 Prime 2018 has two variants with model number DRA-AL00 and DRA-TL00 respectively. Both variants have the same specs and are probably just network variants.
The handset sports a dual tone finishing with glossy trimming around the edges and camera. Moreover, we can see the volume setting and the power button on the right spine. Moreover, the phone has camera module in the top left corner. Furthermore, it equips with a taller 18:9 display covered in slimmer bezels, like the present Huawei Y6 2018. To be specific, this Y5 Prime sports a 5.45-inch screen with the resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels.
On top of that, there is a Snapdragon 425 processor at its core, which mates to 2GB RAM and 32GB storage which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot. Further, the Huawei Y5 Prime 2018 camera packs a 13MP camera on the rear panel and a 5MP shooter on the front. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo system and takes power from a 2,920mAh battery. For security, there is no fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the phone is going to launch in three color options – Black, Blue, and Gold.
