However, it looks like Huawei has decided to save the best for last and release the upgraded version of Huawei Watch 2 instead. Huawei Watch 2 2018 features the same design as the original but now has an eSIM that connects to 4G networks. So not only you can send SMS, but also make a phone call while using 4G without syncing to a phone.
To ensure clarity, you can hook the gadget with a Bluetooth headset, or rely on its dual microphones. For starter, the watch has a convenience key that primarily gives you instant access to make a quick selection of exercise, but can be customised to take on another app. Aside from tracking your heart rate during workouts, monitoring the quality of sleep, the watch also gets a built-in GPS and the FIRST BEAT motion algorithm that offers training plan and exercise guidance. Under the hood, the Huawei Watch 2 2018 specs equip with a circular 1.2-inch OLED screen with 390 x 390p resolution.
Besides, it takes power from the Snapdragon 2100 chipset coupled with 768 RAM and 4GB storage. Much like the previous model, the gadget supports Huawei and Ali Pay, plus social app WeChat. On top of that, the watch draws a battery of 420mAh with Fast charging technology and water resistant rating of IP68. Moreover, Huawei claims that it can serve you up to 1 and a half days of regular usage, while it drops to 24hrs on 4G.
