Huawei P9 Lite is a downgraded version of the flagship P9 released last year. However, the phone still packs some amazing specs at an affordable price. Check out this Huawei P9 Lite review to find out more!
Huawei P9 Lite review: Flagship Elements with Compromises
Huawei P9 Lite was released in April 2016 as a step-down version of the flagship P9. Design-wise, the phone looks easy on the eye and has a sleek, attractive build. Instead of using the aluminum unibody design like the P9, the P9 Lite has a smooth, flat plastic back. In terms of Huawei P9 Lite specs, it features a 5.2″ Full HD IPS LCD display screen. The display is bright and sharp, thanks to the small 5.2” screen.
Huawei P9 Lite will come in two versions: one with 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM, the other with 3GB RAM + 16GB ROM (both are expandable up to 256GB using SIM 2 slot). The phone is powered by a Kirin 650 octa-core (4 x 2.0GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz), along with Mali-T830MP2 GPU. Huawei P9 Lite runs on Android 6.0 with Emotion UI 4.1. However, an update has been released and you can now update the phone to Android 7.0 with Emotion UI 5.0.
Huawei P9 Lite cameras are lacking somewhat compared to other phones at the same price tag. The phone is mounted with a 13MP f/2.0 camera on the back and an 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera on the front. The image quality is decent but focus can be slightly off with washed out edges.
Huawei P9 Lite review: Is this phone for you?
Huawei P9 Lite price is around $360 ~ Rs. 23990, a fairly reasonable price. The phone has a solid display and nice design. However, it’s not the best phone at that price tag. If you want something better at the same price, check out the Moto G4 Plus for more information.
