Huawei P20 Pro camera: triple-lens setup, AI features and more!

After the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, this Chinese brand is now getting ready to launch their new flagship series. In details, Huawei is going to release up to three new members of their P20 line. There is going to be Huawei P20, P20 Pro and one lower variant – Huawei P20 Lite. In term of the display, Huawei P20 specs sport a 5.84-inch LTPS IPS LCD. Similarly, Huawei P20 Pro specs include the same screen, with the resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.

Under the hood, both Huawei P20 and P20 Pro is going to run on an Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin AI chipset, probably the 970 one. Furthermore, the Huawei P20 duo offers different memories options: 128 GB, 6 GB RAM or 64 GB, 4 GB RAM. Besides, there is also a microSD card which can expand up to 256GB. In terms of the operating system, they arrive running on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0.

The most significant difference between these two handsets is their rear camera setup! For Huawei P20 camera, this handset equips a dual 12 MP (f/1.7, OIS) + 20 MP (f/1.7) primary snapper. However, Huawei P20 Pro camera impressed us all with a triple-lens system. In details, we can see there is a combination of three cameras comprised of a 40MP + 8MP sensor. Furthermore, the Huawei P20 Pro camera sports a stand-alone 20MP sensors, all arranged vertically. Regarding the front shooter, both Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro camera system have a single 24 MP, autofocus, f/2.0, 1080p lens. How about the battery? Huawei P20 rocks a 3400mAh juice box, while the P20 Pro battery packs a 4000mAh capacity. Lastly, Huawei is also reportedly working on a new camera feature -” Light Fusion ”. This new feature can help enhance the low-light photography ability of their upcoming devices.

According to the media, Huawei is going to introduce the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro at their event on March 27th.
