Huawei Nova 4 poster appeared online
After examining the Nova 4 teaser, there are going to be a few notable changes compared to the Nova 3’s design. In details, the Huawei Nova 4 specs equip a higher screen-to-body ratio due to a change in the display manufacturing process. Instead of housing a wide notch at the top, the Nova 4 features a front in-display camera capturing selfies and creating Animoji-like emojis. Meanwhile, a single camera cut-out appears at the top-left corner.
Perhaps, the device might not support 3D-capable facial recognition. However, if the camera sensor were not integrated with other components, the case to use facial tracking using the single camera could happen. Under the hood, Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset featuring 7nm FinFET would power the Nova 4. Therefore, that would be a portable powerhouse thanks to the next-generation NPU of the Kirin 980.
Whereas, there might be a cheaper variant of the Nova 4, the Nova 4i sporting a Kirin 710. Otherwise, the Huawei phone might feature an LCD screen and a rear-facing fingerprint reader. On the other side, Huawei brings a higher capacity battery and some camera improvements with the Nova 4. Meanwhile, the Nova 4 comes pre-installed with Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.0 software. However, the Huawei Nova 4 camera and other remaining specs still stay as the mystery.
