At the Chinese company’s global analyst summit in Shenzhen, the Chinese phone maker plans to debut their first 5G phone. The expected time would be in the second half of next year. Ahead of that, the first Huawei 5G mobile hotspot will launch in the second quarter of 2019. Given the H2 2019 release timeline, we assume that the smartphone in question could be the Mate 30.
For the smartphone design, the flagship display comes with a 6.8mm notch and 3.8mm chin on the front. Since the smartphone comes with 5G network speeds, we expect the core would be the Kirin 980 chipset or later versions. Furthermore, we can witness the GPU Turbo system under the hood of this device. For the time of launching, Huawei flagship can get the Android Pie 9.0 out-of-the-box.
Concerning Huawei Mate 30 specs, the handset sports a 6.32 OLED curved screen with 2560 x 1440 pixels. Otherwise, coupled with the Kirin 980 chipset and GPU Turbo, the smartphone offers 8GB RAM and 256GB/ 512GB ROM (expand to 512GB). On the other side, Huawei Mate 30 camera stays with a 38MP triple rear sensors. Furthermore, the system includes two snappers of 16MP on the front. Meanwhile, the Huawei phone receives security and regular updates from Android 9.0 Pie operating system. Also, the handset rocks a non-removable 4500mAh battery box.
