After launching the P30-lineup smartphone in Paris, the Chinese company is working an upcoming device which could be the successor of the Mate 20, dubbed the Mate 30. Now, a Huawei executive in Malaysia has confirmed a video to unveiled the arrival of this phone. The Mate 30 is coming in September or October later this year. “Now is March and the Mate 30 will be launched in September or October”, said Bruce Lee, Huawei Product Manager.
As for the Huawei Mate 30 specs, the Mate 30 phone gets power from the Hisilicon Kirin 985 mobile platform. The flagship processor can be manufactured using EUV (Extreme Ultraviolet) lithography that can make more advanced semiconductors for the mobile, server, network, and supercomputing applications. Furthermore, this phone also comes with a 5G modem built in. Besides, the Huawei phone is going to pack a dual displays system.
In details, this phone packs another screen on the back that takes around half the surface. While the main display is a 6.7-inch OLED, the extra one can be around 3-inch tall. Concerning the storage, this phone has 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM which can be expandable up to 256GB. How about the optics department? The Huawei Mate 30 camera gets a triple 48MP rear shooter and another 24MP selfie lens. Furthermore, this phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie and a decent 4400mAh juice box.
