Huawei Mate 10 flagship will launch on AT&T in February
Huawei is the third-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. However, this Chinese brand is still relatively unknown in the US. Recently, according to The Information, Huawei company is going to make their flagship Huawei Mate 10 available in the US. The CEO of Huawei: Richard Yu confirmed that:”We will sell our flagship phone, our product, in the U.S. market through carriers next year.“At first, Huawei’s strategy is developing gradually rather than increasing quickly.
Therefore, the company makes themselves recognisable as low-priced devices with high-end features. At the moment, the Chinese manufacturer wants to translate the international success to America. Meanwhile, previously, high-end Huawei devices have been available in the US through online stores such as Best Buy or Amazon. However, the smartphones are not strongly advertised, the sales are not good enough for the company.
Huawei’s latest flagship, Huawei Mate 10 is about to debut on AT&T in February of 2018. Besides that, the company plans a $100 million advertising campaign in the US next year. According to Bloomberg also reported that the giant Huawei manufacturer is negotiating with Verizon to carry their flagship smartphones. In addition, another Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is also working on deals with Verizon and AT&T. 2018 seems to be a difficult year for Huawei as Samsung and Apple are still the dominant companies in this market.
The future of Huawei in the US
Earlier this year, Huawei surpassed Apple to take the second biggest smartphone company. We expect that Huawei has some chances to overtake Apple as the second-largest phone vendor next year.
