Huawei Introduces New Fast Charge Tech: 48% battery in JUST 5 minutes
So far in 2018, Huawei introduces new fast charge tech based on the video teaser they launch earlier. As far as it concerns, the new fast charge solutions allow users to charge their devices up to 48% within only five minutes. Scroll down to learn more.
Huawei introduces new fast charge tech
The battery capacity is always a critical issue to us as more and more applications get the hunger for higher power consumption. Therefore, Huawei introduces new fast charge tech that can recharge users devices back to life within a short period of time. According to the video teaser, the new fast charge solution refills the battery capacity to 48% (for 10 hours of calling). The process lasts for only five minute, which is 10 times faster than normal charging.
According to our sources, the new fast-charge tech comes from Huawei’s Watt Lab. In addition, the Huawei’s Watt Lab technicians put their efforts to change the molecular structure of anode materials. Moreover, they take advantage of both physical and chemical lithium ion capacity during the process. As a result, the devices achieve high charging efficiency without sacrificing battery life.
As far as it concerns, the new fast-charge technology will be applicable to smartphones, mobile power supply, computer and electric vehicles. However, they require to subdividing the battery to charge in an external device instead of charging inside the device. Since most of the smartphones today own non-removable juice box, we expect to see how Huawei fixes that problem or removable batteries might make a comeback.
Which smartphones will first get the Huawei’s fast-charge solution?
Huawei’s upcoming flagships are the most expected to ship with this innovative fast charge tech, namely Huawei P11. Besides, we can wait for their own charging products to enable fast-charging capability for other brands’ devices. Also, they can cooperate with other brands to involve this tech as built-in specs.
