Huawei Honor Play new colour

As you may know, both devices were announced at the beginning of July with Huawei’s GPU Turbo tech for improved gaming performance. In this article, we would like to highlight the new colour options for Huawei devices this month. In details, Huawei Honor Play new colour is Nebula purple while the Huawei Honor 9i gets the Dream Purple. When going on sale today (July 2), two phones expect a pretty fast flash sale.

Speaking of the Huawei Honor Play specs, the phone is the more interesting of the two with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD of 1080x2340px resolution. Besides that, the Honor 9i specs feature a 5.84-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. Both devices come with a notch and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Also, the Honor 9i takes power from the Hisilicon Kirin 659 processor, while the Honor Play works on a Kirin 970 chipset.

Concerning the storage, the Honor Play gets 4GB/ 6GB RAM with 64GB ROM. Meanwhile, the handset offers 4GB RAM and two ROM options: 64GB/ 128GB. Both devices receive expanding storage to 256GB, Android Oreo 8.1 and dual cameras. In details, Huawei Honor Play camera includes a dual 16+2MP camera (vertically). Whereas, Huawei Honor 9a camera sports a dual 13MP+2MP camera (horizontally). Both pack a 16MP selfie lens on the front. Also, the Honor 9i battery rocks a non-removable 3000mAh juice box, compared to Honor Play’s 3750mAh power box.

According to our source, Honor will hold a sale for the Nebula Purple and Dream Purple colour variants of its Play and 9i smartphones on July 2. Concerning the cost, the Nebula Purple Huawei Honor Play price will cost CNY 1,999 (€260) for a 4+64GB version. Also, the 6+64GB one costs CNY 2,399 (€310). On the other hand, the Huawei Honor 9i price starts at CNY 1,399 (€180) for a 4+64GB phone and CNY 1,699 (€220) for a 4+128GB variant.
