Huawei Honor Note 10 shows off Kirin 970 chip
The rumours revolving around the Huawei Note 10 are slowly turning into reality. On 9 July, Honor, a sub-brand of Chinese smartphone maker Huawei released a poster for the Honor Note 10 launch in Beijing. Since then, more details about the Huawei Honor Note 10 are starting to surface online as the launching date is near. This news was confirmed by Honor’s president. In details, Zhao Ming, Honor’s president, posted on Weibo about the device.
In the post, he revealed that the OEM has been working on this device for about two years now, which explains why they missed on the Note 9. Fast forward until today, a device with codename Ravel (HUAWEI RVL-AL09) has appeared on Geekbench marking website. And we have any reason to believe it is, in fact, the upcoming Huawei Note 10. The system information in the benchmark run reveals Android 8.1 software and total 6GB of RAM.
The processor listed has 8 cores and clocks at 1.84GHz which is definitely the Kirin 970 inside the previous Honor 10. For the remaining specs, we can expect that the handset may feature a massive 6.9-inch Super AMOLED 2K display from Samsung. Photography-wise, Huawei Honor Note 10 camera includes a dual 16MP rear snapper and a 13MP front shooter. Underhood, the device bears an impressive 4100mah juice box.
