Huawei’s sub-brand Honor sent out invites for an Indian event July 24 when the company is expected to announce a new phone. According to the latest report, the Chinese manufacturer is planning to introduce one new handset to the Indian market. To be specific, the handset in question is going to be the freshly released Honor 9i; but with a new name Honor 9X. Regarding the design and hardware, there seem to be little differences between the two models!

In details, the new Honor 9X comes with a bezel-less display and a notch on top. For the colour, the Honor handset is available in Magic Night Black, Charm Sea Blue, Purple Fantasy, and Green Jasper options. In terms of the display, Huawei Honor 9X specs feature a 5.84-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a tall 19:9 ratio. Under the hood, the Honor 9X gets power from the Hisilicon Kirin 659 processor, paired with 4GB RAM with 64GB/ 128GB ROM.

Moreover, there is a MicroSD card that can extra up to 256GB. Meanwhile, the Huawei battery rocks a non-removable Li-Po 3000mAh juice box. Next, coming to the photography, Huawei Honor 9X camera system packs a dual 13MP (PDAF) + 2MP (no AF, depth sensor) snapper on the back with LED flash. How about the selfie shooter? In details, there is a single 16MP front-facing lens. About the software, this phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo system.
