Earlier in March, Honor had announced the Honor 7C smartphone. Recently, Huawei has sent out invites for the official unveiling of the Honor 8C, the Honor 7C successor. Moreover, the below teaser teases “charging up” as one of the main features of Honor 8C. Perhaps, it could be hinting that the Honor 8C is arriving with fast charging. Unfortunately, the Chinese manufacturer is yet to reveal the specs of the Honor 8C phone.

On the other side, it was speculated that the BKK-TL00 smartphone recently certified by TENAA authority in China could be the Honor 8C. Unofficially, TENAA has already published the model’s specs. According to what we learned, the new 8C is a smaller and more affordable alternative to the Honor 8X. Regarding Huawei Honor 8C specs, the smartphone sports a 6.28” LCD with 720 x 1,520px HD+ resolution.

As we witnessed, the taller 19:9 aspect ratio and extra 0.28” is due to the adoption of a notch. Under the hood, the processor is likely the 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 of the 7C. Regarding the storage, the base RAM capacity increased to 4GB of RAM while the onboard memory comes in either 32GB or 64GB, which is expandable to 128GB. As for Huawei Honor 8C camera, the mobile works on a 13+2MP dual rear cameras and an 8MP selfie. Otherwise, keeping the light is a 3,900mAh battery with a 10W charger and fast charging technology. Also, the smartphone is loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo, and expected to arrive in blue, black, purple and gold options.

According to our legit sources, a recent poster on Honor’s official Weibo account reveals that the company would like to debut the Honor 8C smartphone on October 11.
