Huawei Ascend GX1 with 6″ screen officially announced
Yesterday, we have just heard about some leaks of a new Huawei phablet, the Ascend GX1 which is certified by TENAA. And today, everything is clear than ever cuz a Chinese company introduced it for its local market. Its price is about $255 (PHP 11386), and we expect Huawei will debut soon it in other markets in the near future.
The Ascend GX1 features a 6-inch 720p IPS display. It’s powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset clocked 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU. Moreover, there’s 8 GB of expandable storage space on board, plus 1 GB of RAM. The new smartphone measures 161 x 84.5 x 9.2 mm, weighs 173 grams, and arrives with a pretty large 3500 mAh battery. Its phone arrives with an 8 MP main camera with LED flash, and a 2 MP front-facing shooter.
Additionally, it supports 4G LTE networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, dual-SIM functionality. The new smartphone measures 161 x 84.5 x 9.2 mm, weighs 173 grams. The Ascend GX1 shows one obvious difference compared to its competition – super small lateral bezels which creates for an 80.5% screen-to-body ratio. It is clear that this number makes us impressively, especially for a mid-range handset.
The Ascend GX1 is already for sales in China but in Philippines market, the information is not revealed yet. Because Huawei hasn’t announced whether we’ll see the GX1 in other countries or not. But, hopefully, we expect it will come soon in Philippines.
