After the HTC U11 duo, the Taiwanese brand is now getting ready to launch their next flagship level handset – HTC U12. Notably, this HTC phone is going to come with one bigger brother – HTC U12 Plus flagship. In terms of the design, this HTC handset is made from two materials. Firstly, there is a glass panel at the front and on the back. In the middle, HTC seems to keep the classic “sandwich” approach by putting a metal frame between them.
Secondly, the rear glass plate includes some metals details. Besides, HTC U12 Plus is more angular and less curved. On the screen, we spot the return of the Solar Red Hue. There are also all the navigation buttons on the 18:9 display. Additionally, the HTC U12 Plus flagship comes with a rear fingerprint scanner. Other HTC U12 Plus specs include a 6.0-inch Super LCD6 with the resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels.
Under the hood, this HTC phone takes power from a Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845 chipset. In terms of the storage, the U12 Plus also comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB ROM. There is also a microSD card which can expand up to 256GB. In terms of the photography, HTC U12 Plus camera equips a dual 12 MP (f/1.6, 1.4 µm, Dual Pixel PDAF) + 16 MP rear snapper. As for the features, there are phase detection autofocus, OIS, dual-LED dual-tone flash. On the contrary, this HTC phone has a dual 8 MP (f/2.0, 1080p) selfie shooter. On the other hand, HTC U12 Plus rocks a non-removable Li-Ion 3930mAh battery. Lastly, this HTC handset arrives running on Android 8.1 (Oreo) operating system.
