According to a new tweet from Evan Blass was published on March 25, claims that the company’s as-yet-unannounced mid-range smartphone, the HTC U12 Life, will feature a notch. At the moment, it is not immediately clear what kind of notch will be used. Based on some notes, most OEMs have opted to use a notch similar to the iPhone X. However, others have chosen a different notch that taken by Essential’s PH-1.
Regarding HTC U12 specs, the flagship comes with a large 5.99-inch screen and a 4K resolutions. Besides, HTC U12 runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset 4GB RAM/ 6GB RAM with 64GB ROM (expand to 256GB). The HTC U12 camera system features a dual 12MP + 16MP primary snapper and an 8MP for the selfies. HTC U12 battery rocks a non-removable 3420mAh juice box and Android Oreo 8.0.
There isn’t currently much information available about other aspects of HTC’s upcoming mid-range offering. In the meantime, the HTC U12 Life design seems to be a more traditional one. Further, Android P expects to include system-level support for screen notches.
