At the Mobile World Congress 2018, HTC might not announce any devices. However, the Taiwanese brand showed off the HTC U12 flagship at the Taiwan 5G Industry Alliance meeting. First of all, let’s take a look at the HTC U12 specs. Regarding the display, the HTC phone has a tall 18:9 ratio with a large 6-inch full-screen and a 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). On the other hand, HTC U12 might run on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset as the processor.
Under the hood, the HTC flagship comes with different variants of 6GB RAM with 64GB/ 128GB ROM. Besides that, the storage can be expandable up to 256GB. Let’s talk about the photography. HTC U12 camera system features a dual 13MP snapper on the back and a single 12MP front-facing shooter for taking selfies. In addition, the HTC battery rocks a big non-removable 4000mAh juice box. Besides that, the HTC phone runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo as the operating system.
Additionally, the HTC flagship supports 5G capability. As a result, the HTC device clocked 798.52 and 809.58 download speeds. Besides that, HTC U12 might offer an Iris scanner on the front instead of a fingerprint sensor.
