HTC U is the new phone that the Taiwanese company has introduced to the market. Similarly, Micromax Dual 5 has just been launched as well. Let’s have a HTC U vs Micromax Dual 5 battle!

At first glance, this HTC U vs Micromax Dual 5 battle seems quite even. Both phones have 5.5″ screen. However, HTC U offers better with 2K resolution, while Micromax Dual 5 only has Full HD. Both also have fingerprint sensor. For the HTC phone, it is mounted at the front, while for the Micromax phone, it is at the back. HTC U runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, while the Micromax one is on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. On the outside, overall, the two phones are really similar.

However, when it comes the the inside, HTC U has the upper hand compared to Micromax Dual 5 specs. At its core, HTC U has the octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor (4×2.45 GHz Kryo & 4×1.9 GHz Kryo), with Adreno 540 GPU. For Micromax Dual 5, it’s only octa-core Snapdragon 652 (4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A72 & 4×1.4 GHz Cortex-A53), with Adreno 510 GPU. The HTC phone has 6GB RAM, while the one from Micromax only has 4GB. For performance, we can see that HTC U has the extra edge compared to its opponent.

No information has been revealed yet about HTC U battery, while that of Micromax Dual 5 is 3,200mAh. The HTC phone offers 64 or 128GB of internal storage, while the Micromax one only offers 128GB option. One other interesting aspect of this HTC U vs Micromax Dual 5 battle is the camera. HTC U has a combo of 12MP/16MP rear and front camera, while the one from Micromax has a dual 13MP rear camera and a 13MP front one. The Micromax phone may take better pictures, but for selfies, you would choose the HTC one!

So what about the price? Currently, Micromax Dual 5 price is Rs. 24,999, while HTC U price is still unknown, but it is expected to be higher, because it has higher specs. Which phone will you choose?
