In 2017, HTC has released up to five handsets for their U series. Some of the most highlighted names are HTC U11, HTC U11 Life and U11 Plus. Furthermore, we caught the news about a brand new handset from this Taiwanese brand to appear next year: HTC Ocean Harmony. Known as the lower variant of the HTC U11 Plus flagship, this handset was supposed to make its debut this month.
On the other hand, new reports are now suggesting that HTC might announce the HTC Ocean Harmony at the CES 2018 event in January 2018. Regarding the display, HTC Ocean Harmony specs sport a 5.99-inch FHD+ with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. Secondly, this HTC smartphone is going to run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS. Furthermore, HTC Ocean Harmony has a 3,930mAh battery capacity.
Under the hood, this HTC handset is going to have two variants with different chipsets. The first HTC version will have 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM, while the other has 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM. Additionally, there is a microSD that can expand up to 256GB. In terms of the photography, HTC Ocean Harmony camera has a 12MP rear camera and dual 5MP selfie shooter. On the other hand, DigiTimes has reported about HTC plan in 2018. For the upcoming year, HTC is planning to release various handsets to the market, both flagship and mid-range phones. One of the most anticipated devices from this brand is the HTC U12. This HTC flagship is expected to come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and dual-lens primary snapper.
