HTC 10 review: The highlights and the disappointments!
HTC 10 – the latest official smartphone from HTC – hasn’t been mentioned for quite a long time! So today, let’s have a quick HTC 10 review for HTC fans!
HTC 10 – The highlights
The first thing to compliment in this HTC 10 review is the performance! This phone is reviewed to perform really smoothly even running 6 – 8 tasks at the same time! There is also no heating issue or lag at all! To be able to offer such experience, the company has added a powerful CPU to the heart of this phone. There is a quad-core 2.2GHz processor, a Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB RAM to take care of the performance!
The second highlight in this HTC 10 review is its design! Just like other HTC phones in the M-series, the design of this phone is exquisite. The metal body structure makes the phone look really premium. The phone also feels good to hold in hands. As for the display, though packing a 5.2-inch screen only, this phone offers 2k resolution and 565 ppi pixel density. So the visual effect will be absolutely awesome, even over expectation.
HTC 10 – The drawbacks
The first drawback in our HTC 10 review is its camera. Well, while smartphones nowadays offer massive camera resolution (16MP and above), a 12MP camera is not really appealing. Actually, the resolution doesn’t really matter if the sensor is great! Despite that, HTC 10’s sensor is not really outstanding. Besides the laser autofocus technology, other camera specs are still quite basic.
The other drawback in this HTC 10 review is the price. HTC 10 price is up to Rs 54000 ($808). For half that price, you can get a Xiaomi or Lenovo phone with the same specs! HTC is a famous brand, but if they want to compete in the current market (which is overwhelmed with new smartphones), the brand truly needs to consider their price tag again.
