This July, HMD finally launched its own branding smartphone. Notably, the new HMD Skyline design shares many similarities with the Nokia N9. Moreover, the Finnish firm refers to it as having “Gen 2 repairability,” which allows you to swap out a broken screen or a dead battery for a working one in under ten minutes. One simple screw can be used to open the Skyline’s rear cover, making it possible to quickly use conventional iFixit kits to restore broken displays, bent charging ports, or low batteries.

The spare components will also be provided by iFixit. Take a look at the display! In detail, the HMD Skyline specs feature a 6.55-inch P-OLED with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a 20:9 ratio aspect. On the other side, the HMD device boots to Android 14 as the operating system. Meanwhile, it houses a massive 4600mAh energy box. Besides, the HMD device draws power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.

How about the memory department? The Nokia device ships with 8GB/ 12GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB of internal storage. There should also be a microSD card that can expand up to another 1TB.
