Telltale officially announced Guardians of the Galaxy game!
In the recent The Game Awards, there were many memorable events, such as Hideo Kojima finally receiving his deserved award. There were also some new announcements as well. One of the notable ones were Telltale’s announcement of the Guardians of the Galaxy game series. This will be Telltale’s next licensed adventure game, and the first franchise of Marvel since the collaboration between Telltale and the company behind the Avengers.
The game will be out some time in 2017. In its press release, Telltale’s Kevin Bruner has shared that, while playing the game, players will be able to take on many roles in the notorious gang of misfits and heroes of Marvel. Gamers will be the pilots in their journey through the universe, exploring and taking on missions, while saving the day at the same time. There have been rumors about this game a little while ago. At the event, it was confirmed, that the company behind some of the best adventure games, such as The Walking Dead, Games of Thrones, and Batman series will now design Peter Quill and his gang’s adventure in the upcoming series. This will also be the second time Telltale venture into superhero genre, after their success with the Batman series. It is really exciting to see what they will do with the heroes of Marvel this time.
