GPU Turbo Beta arrives on Huawei Honor 10
Earlier this month, Huawei unveiled new GPU Turbo tech, along with the Honor Play. To be specific, the software will help increase processing efficiency by 60%, and it preserves power by 30%. The best part is there’s no new hardware involved meaning it can be forwarded merely as an OTA update to other Huawei devices. Furthermore, there was a preliminary schedule announced a week back, including a number of top Honor and Huawei devices.
During the unveiling, the company said the tech would be available to their other phones as well, from mid-range to flagship There’s even a schedule update for the company’s devices. And now, it’s coming to light that the company has started testing the GPU Turbo Beta feature on Huawei Honor 10. Besides, according to He Gang – president of Huawei’s mobile phone division – their Mate 10 series will be the first to get GPU Turbo technology. Thus, the tech is already present on the Honor 9i. And a beta test for the Huawei Mate 10 series already began a few weeks back.
Huawei GPU Turbo update schedule
Here is the expected timeline for other models. At the end of June: Huawei Mate 10 Series, Glory V10. Next, in July comes the P20 Series, Mate RS Porsche Design, Flat M5 Series. In August there will be Nova 3e, Enjoy 8 Plus, Enjoy 7S, Maimang 6, Glory 9 Youth Edition, Glory Play 7X. In September: Mate 9 Series. Then comes October with the P10 Series, Glory 9, Glory V9. From November to later, the update will arrive in other products.
