Google prepares an event for Sep 29th, Huawei Nexus to pack 128GB
The past few months have been very big for Google. They continued from announcing the new Nexus smartphones (yes, two to be exact) to launching Android 6.0 Marshmallow. And rumors already have it said about the second Chromecast. Too much news for too few months. But now we are already so close to be revealed about it all: what surprise is Google planning for us next? The giant search engine has just sent out official RSVP invites for an important event happening on September 29th, starting at 9AM in San Francisco.
At the same time, from another resource that we got, the upcoming Nexus smartphone made by Huawei (known as Huawei Neuxus 5) will come with a very huge ROM of 128GB. If this really comes at the Google event a week later, it is really good to notice that smartphone producers finally recognized our need for a generous internal storage on our smartphone. When considering that in 2014, Nexus 6 from Google already came with 32GB and 64GB variants, it sounds more probable for them to pack a doubled memory capacity.
Good as it may seem, please keep in mind that this Huawei Nexus 128GB ROM will also not be the first ever to pack 128GB ROM since we already have in our market Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe with the same capacity. However, that would make Huawei Nexus the first Google-developed smartphone to feature 128GB in board.
Are you wondering the same question as we are? That whether with 128GB in store, will the Huawei Nexus support a MicroSD card slot? From what we have collected, it is very likely the this Nexus 5 device from Huawei will NOT come with such slot. Though Google claimed that they are trying to develop expandable storage in Android Marshmallow, maybe they think that 128GB ROM is really enough for any smartphone user. What do you think about this point? Share with us whether in your opinion it is still better the have an extra card ready whenever you may need more spaces for your files.!
Only 8 more days till the big event. However, we have not heard any leak or rumor about the Nexus smartphone from LG lately. From previous resources, it seems that the LG Nexus 5 2015 will offer the common 16GB and 32GB options for built-in memory, which is rather not impressive.
Keep your curiosity growing, but be a bit patient because we will know the answers to all question on September 28, at 9 AM local time in San Francisco.
