Google Play Instant: How does it work?
Google has introduced Google Play Instant, a new Play Store feature that allows users to play games on Android devices without downloading them. As we may know, last year, Android Instant Apps was launched to let users try applications before installing them. Now, Google is extending this feature to games. Besides, according to the latest news, Jonathan Karmel, Google Play Instant product manager, said the new feature would be available in the Play Store, Play Games app, or wherever game links are shared.
There are six games supported by Google Play Instant to start, including Clash Royale, Words With Friends 2, Solitaire, Final Fantasy XV: A new Empire, Bubble Witch 3 Saga, and Mighty Battles. Besides, for the direction, when you find a game that supports Google Play Instant, there is a “TRY NOW” button on it. Next, you tap this button, and the game will load up. Now, you can play this game immediately without installing it. If you like this game, you can tap the “Install” button in the Instant App.
On the other hand, according to TechCrunch, this feature is currently closed beta. Besides, Google plans to open it up to more developers later this year.
