In the Google event on 4th October (American time zone), Google will launch two new smartphones: Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL. From the British retailer Carphone Warehouse’s accidental leak, we got the full Google Pixel and Pixel XL specs. Let’s have a look!
Full Google Pixel and Pixel XL specs round-up
Generally, Pixel is quite similar to its sibling – the Pixle XL. Both new Google smartphones come with the same 4GB of RAM and two internal storage options: 32GB and 128GB. You will also find a combo of 12.3MP main + 8MP selfie shooter on both devices. Especially, they are reported to run on the latest Android OS – Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. The processors are also the same, with 2.15GHz quad-core SnapDragon 821.
However, there are some differences between two smartphones. The Google Pixel comes with a 5.0-inch Full HD screen, with 441 ppi density. Meanwhile, Google Pixel XL comes with a bigger 5.5-inch screen, with a higher density resolution of 534 ppi. In addition, the Pixel XL sports a bigger battery capacity than its sibling, with 3450 mAh. The battery on the Google Pixel phone has 2770 mAh capacity.
Besides, Google will bring their new apps (Allo and Duo) to Google Pixel and Pixel XL. The company also offers free online storage space to users. Also, as the report suggested, two new Google phones will come with a USB Type – C, and quick charging technology that delivers 7 hours of battery life in just 15 mins of charging.
