Google Pixel 3A duo
After Pixel 3 flagship lineup, there has surfaced about Google’s mid-range Pixels starting with their name, dubbed as Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. According to what we learned, the couple would have 5.6” and 6” screens respectively. In details, Google Pixel 3a specs include a 5.6” OLED screen with 1,080 x 2,220px (18.5:9). Whereas, Google Pixel 3a XL specs arrive with the same resolution and aspect ratio.
According to the video hands-on, both Google mid-range phones would feature Active Edge. Under the hood, the Pixel 3a phone ships with Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chipset, while the XL model is packing Snapdragon 710 instead. As for the storage, Pixel 3a arrives with 4GB RAM and 64GB of onboard memory. Moreover, the XL variant offers the bigger storage up to maximum 6GB of RAM.
More interestingly, the names were discovered last week in Android Q. How about the photography system? In details, Google Pixel 3a camera sports a 12MP rear camera producing the same image quality as the Pixel 3. However, the mid-range chipset keeps the device handle more slowly when taking photos. Meanwhile, there is an 8MP wide-angle selfie camera on the front panel, but no ultra-wide second module available. Interestingly, both phones will feature eSIM and the Titan M security chip. Unfortunately, there is no word on wireless charging, but we have 18W fast-charging over USB-C Power Delivery for the 3,000mAh battery box.
