Google announced Android 6.0 Marshmallow – official name of Android M
We have heard about Google’s 6th generation of Android OS: Android M for a while now. Now it has been unveiled! Android M is officially named Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which follow the candy-theme names of the previous Android OS.
Unlike the 5th generation Android Lollipop, which was introduced with a bunch of appealing features, this Android 6.0 Marshmallow is targeted to bring stability and improve your Android smartphone performances. Some of the updates that you can expect to experience soon are: Android Pay, Tap on Now, built-in app of fingerprint scanner and popular USB Type-C support. 64-bit processor is also one function that benefit from this Android Marshmallow.
The “near-final” SDK version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow is now available for developers to test. And Google has now suggested that developers upload their Android 6.0 Marshmallow apps to Google Play. Users can now download the Android Marshmallow edition with the factory image on it. Public release with finalized version will be out in September – which is less than one month ahead. Get ready to enjoy new apps and functions if you are currently or will be an Android smartphone users.
