A grand release: eight bezel-less smartphones!

Recently, Gionee has released their invitation on Weibo about their upcoming grand event in Shenzhen, China. They also confirm that the occasion will be live streamed in China on Shenzhen Satellite TV. The main invitation includes an image of total eight smartphones. All devices come with various designs, but they have one thing in common: Full-screen bezel-less displays! Furthermore, all the new Gionee smartphones are likely to have an 18:9 aspect ratio that would brighten up the minimal bezels.

While there is no news about new models, a report by Android Headlines claims that these eight bezel-less smartphones will be: F6, M2018, S11 and S11 Plus, and the M7 Plus. Among the entire range, the two M7 Plus and M2018 are the top-end smartphones. Since their specs feature a leather back panel, 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage. These handset’s hardware is probably compatibility with the current apps that support bezel-less displays.

Additionally, the Gionee S11 is going to sport a 6-inch fullHD+ display and a MediaTek MT6763 chipset. Its camera system has a 5MP front camera sensor and a 16MP rear camera snapper. Finally, all the handsets are expected to run on Gionee’s custom Amigo operating system, based on the Android Nougat.
