Future Meizu smartphones coming with 4GB RAM and Exynos 7420 CPU

Ever heard of Meizu or Meizu MX5? If yes, then you know their products are quite the favorites and, of course, sell well. If not, you should consider buying one in the future. Why? Because from now on, there will be high possibility that Meizu high end smart phones will be more powerful than ever. Not only do they have reasonable price, but also sport powerful hardware. Moreover, this is a hot news: Meizu will use Samsung Galaxy S6’s Exynos 7420 chipset on their high end handsets.

Meizu’s next high end handset will sport the powerful Samsung Galaxy S6 chipset.

Samsung Galaxy S6 chipset is the Exynos 7420

As both a mobile manufacturer and chipset producer, Samsung has earned its name in the mobile technology market. This may be the reason why Meizu would choose Samsung over Qualcomm for their devices’ chipset. Moreover, many people seems to be afraid whenever they hear Qualcomm Snapdragon, obviously because of its heating problem.

Qualcomm stated that there would be no heating issue on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820

As we have all experience what Samsung could do for its flagship, esp. Samsung Galaxy Note and Samsung Galaxy S series, this seems a wise move from Meizu. The new Meizu flagship, other than sporting an Exynos 7240, will have glass cover on both front and back, much like Sony Xperia series.

If this is a successful move, Meizu would likely to jump completely to Samsung for their chipsets. Or in the long terms, would Meizu produce their own chipset, like Xiaomi ?

Nothing is known yet, so we are not sure whether this is 100% true. If this is, then the technology world would have a new status, as Samsung would likely lead on both smart phone and chipset. About Meizu, with their new handset price at around $483, it would be undoubtedly a flagship killer, either.
