Xiaomi and OPPO are reportedly working on their foldable phones!

While smartphones are getting bigger and bigger, our pockets aren’t. As a result, we’re in dire need of a good solution for this problem. For 2018, it seems like many smartphone manufacturers have figured out the perfect answers to our calling: foldable handset! Yesterday, we reported about Huawei’s aiming for the front-runner seat against Samsung. However, the Korean brand might not just be the only opponent Huawei needs to watch out for!

Based on the latest report, Xiaomi and now OPPO is working on their foldable phones at the moment. However, there are going to be a significant difference between each brand. In details, Samsung and Huawei ultimate solutions lead to an in-fold handset. However, Xiaomi upcoming device is going to fold outwards. Moreover, the Xiaomi flagship also comes with a compact package that can expand its display surface by user’s need.

Additionally, the Xiaomi foldable smartphone price is going to be their main advantage in the competition! Previously, Samsung foldable device – Galaxy F – is reportedly having a huge price tag up to $2000. Xiaomi, on the other hand, can bring down the cost up to half. As a result, we can expect Xiaomi’s foldable smartphone to be one of the cheapest solutions of the market. On the other hand, OPPO is also working on the launch of their foldable device. However, there is no official timeframe yet for the arrival of this handset. Besides, as OPPO is making use of a similar patent to Samsung, don’t be surprised with its high price tag!
