Five new iPad models surfaced on the internet: reduced bezels and Face ID!
A refreshed iPad Pro lineup is coming later this year. In the waiting time, our sources have reported about five new models certified by the Eurasian Economic Commission. This certification could possibly hint an announcement in September alongside the updated iPhone lineup. In details, the five models own the numbers A1876, A1935, A1979, A2013, and A2014. They are currently running on iOS 11. Unfortunately, we have no information on the exact iPad models of these 5 variants.
However, according to our sources, the latter two numbers may have relation to the new iPad Pro 12.9-inch which comes in both Wi-Fi and 4G LTE variants. Furthermore, the A1935 and A1979 codes might be the two variants of the updated 10.5-inch iPad Pro. These two updated variants are also expected officially appear later on in the year. In regards to the remaining A1876 model number, there is yet to be any indication of what tablet this may refer to.
However, since the iPad Mini hasn’t seen a refresh since 2015, Apple may be preparing a fifth-generation of the tablet that will be sold alongside the two new iPad Pro models. At the moment, the iPad Mini, if refreshed, may come with the Face ID. On the other hand, the new iPad Pro lineup may arrive with reduced bezels.
