A Final Fantasy XV glitch enables free roam in the game’s second part!
Final Fantasy XV has been quite special compared to previous titles. It opens up with an open world for players to explore right at the start of the game, which breaks tradition of the game quite a bit. However, in the latter sections, the games adopted a more linear experiences, where players go from one point to another without much exploring. However, the world still seems big in sight. That raises the question: how much of it was meant to be larger? One player tried to dig deep into that, and have some interesting results.
There is an area in Cartanica (the mine area) where an invisible wall exists that prevents players to go through. However, using an out-of-bounds glitch, a player, Fotm Hero, has been able to explore the entire second continent of Final Fantasy XV. Although the areas are empty for the most part, it sets up a lot of potential for further DLCs of the game. There were flying train tracks, and a big snow field. You can take a look at that from the video below.
We may never know how much of Niflheim was intended to be explorable in the game, before the change of director and direction shift (this game was in development for 10 years because of that). The areas shown above points out that a much larger world may have been planned. However, environment art is quite easy to implement. The hard part is to put people, quests, and real contents in those places. However, we can hopefully get to see those areas put to good use in future DLCs and patches.
Final Fantasy XV glitch: There may be more to the game
Of course, this Final Fantasy XV glitch leading us to see the unused areas may be put to good use real soon. Remember, 3 DLCs about the main character Noctis’ friends, Gladio, Prompto and Ignis will be available soon, as well as a DLC for co-op gameplay. Do you want to explore the world of Eos even more?
