Fierce war between Xiaomi & Huawei? Who is stronger?

The China-based’ suppliers are trying continuously to gain the market, especially in the local market. Huawei and Xiaomi are one of the strongest rivals companies untill now. And it looks like they have strong ambition to take on the the other. But what’s about the last result?

According to Taiwan’s DigiTimes Research – a reliable website in Taiwan, Huawei, not Xiaomi, was No1 China-based smartphone manufacture with a total shipments of 14.8 Million smartphones in Q3 2014.

Huawei was chased closely by Xiaomi Technology with 13.5 million shipments. Although there is still raising an argument between this result with the international reports of  IHS iSuppli and IDCS.

Besides that, according to the its report, some next positions comes to Lenovo with 10.1 Million Units, TCL with 10 Million units, OPPO with 9.8 MIllion UNits, BBK 8Million Units, Coolpad 6.4 Million. Gionee 6.3 Million and ZTE 5.9 Million Units.

All together, according to the latest Digitimes Research, China-based makers shipped an amazing number of 111.1 million devices in Q3 2014, increased 5.6% on the same quarter and 44.1% compared to the last year. Nearly 40% of those was shipped abroad, increased 7.6% on quater and 53% on year.

It seems that Xiaomi concentrated more on local market, with a small shipments of only 5.4 % contrast to Huawei with 42.6% exported shipments.

An interesting addition, 5/10 top smartphone vendors this year come from China.  Xiaomi was the leader with an increasing of  200% compare to the last year.

It is clear that the Chinese market is really hot and cannot deny the future of smartphones over the world seems to be from China. Almost China’s brand take us many reasonable price, high-quality specs was completely satisfied all of us and the fans and customers thanks to that.

The war between Huawei and Xiaomi doesn’t come to the end. We also hope that this competition will create more impressive devices in the future.
